Incoming Freshman Scholarship: Each year scholarship applications are given out the all interested applicants who are incoming freshman. Selection criteria are based on academic achievement and completion of application. Applications are usually due in early October.
Clover of the Semester: Each semester an outstanding active member is chosen as the Clover of the Semester. The Vice President and Recording Secretary tally the participation points accumulated by each member. The chapter then votes on the three members with the most points.
Linen Napkin: This award was started in 1984 when an active did something “noteworthy” at the Talisman Rose (formal date night). The current holder passes on the award at each Formal.
Spirit of Clovia Scholarship: This semesterly scholarship is given to members based on academic standing, involvement, and the completion of the application form. The Vice President serves as liaison to the alumnae association concerning this scholarship.
Linck-Mikesh Award: Vandora Linck and Verna Mikesh present this engraved plaque to an outstanding senior at the Talisman Rose (formal date night). All seniors are encouraged to complete the application form. Candidated applications selected by the chapter for this award are forwarded by the house counselor to the alumnae board for final selection.
Highest Grade Point Average: A gift is given to the Clovia active who has obtained the highest grade point average for the academic year. It is presented at the Founder’s Day.
Most Improved Grade Point Average: A gift is given to the Clovia active who has improved her grade point average most significantly during the academic year. It is presented at Founder’s Day.
National Association of Clovia Scholarship: Three Clovia sisters are presented with scholarhsips at National Meeting. Selection is based on the application and academic standing.
Who’s Who in Clovia: This annual listing honors members from the active and alumnae chapters who have made outstanding contributions to their chapter. From the active chapter, the Linck-Mikesh recipient and another senior selected by the active chapter serves as the Beta Chapter of Clovia’s active nominees to the National Association. Recipients receive recognition and a certificate at the National Meeting or at Founder’s Day.
Anna Rose Gallagher Biever Service & Leadership Achievement Award: This award is given out to an active Sophomore or Junior who has been involved in Clovia for at least three semesters. Members are nominated by the active chapter at any regular meeting. Those that are nominated then complete an application and are selected by the Alumnae chapter. The recipient is announced at Founder's Day.
